First off, breathe. Not many people are comfortable with having their pictures taken…much less for a headshot! But hopefully, with my tips and tricks you’ll be very prepared.


How long is a headshot session?

Most sessions last around 2 hours. It isn’t about watching the clock—I want to make sure you have a reasonable amount of time and attention so, no pressure.

One session consists of three looks. And when I say look, I mean a change of outfit, hair, and/or makeup. It’s important to provide the greatest variety to choose from.


Where do you shoot?

My studio is located in Chelsea, NY. If an outdoor location is preferred it can be discussed prior to shoot.


Should I hire a makeup artist?

There is nothing wrong with doing your own makeup, but an extra person at the shoot to ensure that you always look amazing is definitely a bonus.

If you rather do your own makeup, go for a light and natural look! It’s always the most flattering. The most important thing is for your headshot to look like how you’d show up to an audition—make them remember you!

If you choose to provide your own makeup artist, please let me know ahead of time. If you need one, I can provide one as well.


Is retouching included?

I will retouch two photos for $295. Any extra retouches will require an additional $50 fee. I retouch imperfections, even skin tones, soften wrinkles, and clean up flyaway hairs making sure you look flawless.


How will I get all of the photos?

During the shoot, we will discuss and work towards the perfect headshot. We will review and tweak anything you’re not happy with, only the best! For the final edit, I will send the images via Google Drive to select for retouching. I am available to help with selection if necessary as well. Two official retouched photos will be provided for you.*


Can I bring a guest?

Of course! As long as this person will make you feel more comfortable and won’t distract from our time, a guest is welcome.


What’s your cancellation and/or rescheduling policy?
All cancellations and/or rescheduling bust be done 72 hours prior to your session date. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to a shoot at a later date if you reschedule in time.
